You know your pregnant when . . .

The signs are overwhelming. I want to cry about everything or yell often at the same time. My OB says hormones are not as wild and crazy during pregnancy, which makes me feel even more out of control because I feel so hormonal! But I digress, we got to go to the doctor for our first baby number four appointment. We got there at 10:45, Patrick, Savannah,Sydney, and myself. Unfortunately we didn't get to see him until oh about 11:45. We brought the girls along so Sydney could see the baby on the screen. She was less than impressed. The picture is pretty blurry, so all you can really see is exaclty what my ticker shows. Dr. Tadvick checked thoroughly and found only one child. Whew! Now we know that he will induce me on or before December 19th. One week before Christmas. SO this will be an interesting holiday season!

We are so excited and that I could even write comprehensible sentences is a miracle in itself. So, hopefully in the next few days I can post all the fun we had when our family came to visit over the holiday. But that my friends will be for another post.

Lots of Changes!

Well, what a few weeks it has been. Let's see. . . we moved, lost the three dogs, found the three dogs, got three kittens, and oh yeah found out we are expecting baby number FOUR! I love God's timing simply because it can catch us off guard at times. We are so happy and can't wait to meet our new little one. So, now our bigger house is perfect to house one more Fogle.

I go to the doctor in a week, so I am thinking I am about 8 weeks or so. Isn't that the way the pregnancy goes when you have many already. All about generalities. I am somewhere in the fourth month, I think I have two weeks left. What number child is this? :) I will post when the due date is when I get to go to the doctor. Oh, yeah! I get to see the best OB in all of the world. Right now I am praying that my dreams of twins are just that, dreams! I know the first thing he will ask me is how the twins are doing. Dr. Tadvick has an ability to focus on your greatest fear and raz you about it. All in good fun though. I am sure he, like all of my dear family will remind me of how these things happen. :) He predicted two years I would be back for this . . . little did he know how soon it would really be!

The kids are excited and Sydney has been telling everyone that we are having a baby boy. Let's see if God truly is speaking through the mouth of my vocal babe!

Welcome Everly Faith!

Just had to post a welcome to the newest member of my friend Rebekah's family. Her baby girl, Everly Faith, was born today weighing in at 6 lbs. 6 oz. It was so fun to see her today at the hosptial. Rebekah even let me pose her for some great photos. I'll let her be the first to post that. I was so glad to share her joy today, but I missed her energy that we share when we chat. She was so tired from the long day (who could blame her . . . and the drugs) and all I wanted to do was play with her and her new baby. In good time she will probably be ready to "play again". So God answered our prayers by giving her a healthy beautiful baby girl that looks just like her daddy!

Walking on Sunshine!

I had so much fun today. I am not sure what it was except I am a blessed woman. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure it is all for real. I was trying to figure out what is special about now that has not been present at other times. For the most part I feel blessed almost everyday, but today I am walking on sunshine. My friends say I overkill the song interjections in my day to day life and I guess that would be a great example of overkill! :)

Where to start? I realized that having a contract on both houses means I can really start packing. I also realized with saddness that I won't be able to treat myself to a Golden Chick Cream Chees Kolache when we move because it won't be near as convient! My thighs and rear will miss the extra padding, but I won't! I also realized that when I joked last fall about letting go of a new car and new house dream, because God had other things in mind at the time . . . that God did have other things in mind. I struggle with feeling a little spoiled right now. I mean a new car and a new house in less than nine months? But then I realize that I have ask God for these things and it has been on His timing that He has provided them.

Which leads me back to the beginning of my blog. What else could I possibly need! My marriage is finally getting to a comfortable rhythm. Let's see, only eight years of desperate praying for that. A nicer vehicle than the one we were overwhelmingly blessed with, only one year for God to drop that in our lap. Then this house . . . I have only started the search less than 6 months for that. Patrick my say it has been a long six months for him physically, but me the most agonizing has been in the last 60 days or so! :-) All great blessings, but a lot of what I learned during this time has been knowing of God's goodness up until the day before He answered my prayers. It is like once I see Him for who He is it is almost better than the request being answered. I know that may sound cheesy, but it so true. The journey to knowing more about God's heart for me has been the most precious life stablizing jewel in the midst of all these physical blessings.

SO, now to my day. I was so excited that I found the bedding that will please both Jacob and me for his new room on Sudance and the best part of my day was getting a comforter that I thought was sold out still available at the store in our town. The cream de la crem . . . I got it for $70 cheaper than online because I misread a sign! How silly that this excites me so! So, I am ready to paint now! All seems to be going together in my life because of simple bedsheets, and now my life seems to fall into place. (Not really, but you get my point).
May I find the joy each and every day in the journey of the life that I live. May all those I encounter know who gives me my joy! May God bless you as He has me!

We've Got Annie!

Well, we don't really have Annie but we do have an contract on our house with the option period over on April 5th! Yeah! It is amazing how much we can see God's hand all over this process. Our realtor mentioned what they have seen in the process of this whole house thing. Who could have imagined of all the houses in Abilene in our price range and we had three couples look at our house in a period of 2 weeks and get two offers within $1000 difference.

The third couple decided that the master closet was too small (which I agree) so they won't be making an offer. So now it is off to settle up with the sellers of our potential new house. With Patrick in court all day, it has been daunting to settle up with our house offers and whatever else . . . oh packing! Anyone in the mood to help?!?!? Just kidding. It does look like we will file our taxes and then move the boxes that weekend to our new house. Our celebration of our neice's Kimberly's 17th birthday . . . okay maybe a card might be appropriate along with that.

Too bed . . . to bed I go before I get any sillier!
P.S. Pat didn't get the Annie thing, he was deprived of the movie as a preteen boy. But I have recently been reminded of how much I loved it in 1982 since I have just recently purchased the dvd from Target. Oh, the glory years.

What a Day!

Okay, so how often does your day get this exciting? I first found out around lunch that I was going to show the house to a couple who was doing a second look see. This is our second couple who seems to be interested in our house. So got that ready, went to pick up the kids and what do you know. Good Old Darcie Dupree of NBC wants my opinion on school bus saftey. Remember I have just been cleaning my house for a showing then decided to walk to get the kids while it's somewhere around 80 outside. So much for my glamour moment. Maybe there will be link I can post later . . . oh, the anticpation!

Then, we get home from soccer practice only to find out that we have our first offer on our house! Wahoo!!! Then Patrick goes to check out the house we want to buy with our realtor to look at a couple of things we found in the inspection, and we got another offer!! How crazy is that? I am so overwhelmed with the possiblities tomorrow has in store, so I thought I would post all the excitement on my blog and maybe it will settle me down so I can actually sleep. I was just asking God for one person to fall in love with my house, who would imagined TWO!!!!

So, am so thankful that God is in control of all the aspects of my life. That even these details are in His plan! I can not wait to see what the future has in store! My life seems to be in the fast lane. God is good all the time . . . even if this house thing goes in a different direction, it is good to know He has His best for me already in the works. I just hope I don't miss it!
